Overview

Cook with Rocket ("the App") is designed with privacy in mind. Your recipes, preferences, and data stay on your device. We don't require an account, and we don't sell your data to anyone.

Data We Collect

Recipe content you import: When you import a recipe via URL, photo, or video, the content is sent to our servers for AI-powered extraction. We process this data to return the structured recipe to your device. We do not store your imported recipe content on our servers after processing.

No personal information: We don't collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any personally identifiable information. There's no account creation required.

Data Storage

All your recipes, preferences, pantry items, and cooking history are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this data.

Third-Party Services

OpenAI: Recipe text and images are processed using OpenAI's API for AI extraction. OpenAI's privacy policy applies to this processing.
Supabase: Our backend infrastructure is hosted on Supabase. No personal data is stored.

Analytics

We may use privacy-friendly analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) that do not use cookies and do not track individual users.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
