By downloading, installing, or using Cook with Rocket ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App. These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Cook with Rocket ("we," "us," or "our").
Cook with Rocket is a recipe management application that allows users to:
Required Apple disclosure: Rocket Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at the confirmation of purchase. The subscription automatically renews unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
Rocket Premium unlocks the following features:
Pricing: Subscription prices are displayed at the time of purchase and may vary by region. All prices are in your local currency as determined by the App Store.
Free Trial: A free trial may be offered at the time of first subscription. If a free trial is available, any unused portion will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription to that service. One free trial per user per subscription product.
Cancellation: To cancel your subscription, go to Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions on your iPhone or iPad, select Cook with Rocket, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: All purchases are subject to Apple's standard refund policy. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
The free version of the App allows up to 5 AI-powered recipe imports. Browsing and saving bundled recipes from Rocket's library is always free and unlimited, regardless of subscription status.
The App includes a web browser to help you discover and import recipes from third-party websites. When using this feature:
The App requests permission to access your device camera and photo library solely to enable photo-based recipe imports. You may revoke this permission at any time in your device's Settings. We do not access your camera or photos for any purpose other than recipe import.
Recipes you import, create, or modify within the App remain your own content. We do not claim ownership over your recipes. All your recipe data is stored locally on your device — we do not have access to it.
You agree not to:
The App, its design, mascot, branding, bundled recipes, and all associated content are owned by Cook with Rocket and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:
Important: AI-extracted recipes may contain errors in ingredients, quantities, allergen information, or cooking times. Always use your own judgement when cooking, and never rely solely on the App for dietary, allergy, or medical decisions.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Cook with Rocket and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to damages for personal injury, property damage, loss of data, loss of profits, or any other damages arising from your use of the App or reliance on AI-extracted recipe content.
These Terms are between you and Cook with Rocket only, not with Apple Inc. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content. Apple has no obligation to provide any maintenance or support for the App. In the event of any failure of the App to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any) to you. Apple has no other warranty obligation whatsoever with respect to the App. Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims by you or any third party relating to the App.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.
